Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 25, 2025

The Short Version

We collect minimal information about you. We never sell your data. We only use your data to provide and improve our Services.

1. What We Collect and Why

Our guiding principle is to collect only what we need. Here's what that means in practice:

1.1 Identity & Access: When you sign up for Turnoxy, we ask for your email address. We use this to identify your account, communicate with you, and send service-related updates. You can update or delete your information at any time.

1.2 Billing Information: If you pay for a Turnoxy subscription, your payment information goes directly to our payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number. We keep records of transactions, including the last 4 digits of your card, for accounting and support purposes.

1.3 Usage Data: We collect basic usage data to operate our Services, including connection timestamps, bandwidth consumption, and general geographic region (country-level only). This helps us monitor service health and prevent abuse.

1.4 Website Analytics: We may collect information about your visits to our website, such as pages viewed and actions taken. This helps us improve our website and understand how people find us.

1.5 Cookies: We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how our website is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

1.6 Refund Records: If you request a refund or dispute a charge, we retain records of that request for legal compliance and fraud prevention. This includes correspondence with you, payment details, and any resolution information.

2. What We Don't Collect

We do not log, monitor, or store your browsing history, DNS queries, or the content of your internet traffic passing through our proxy servers.

This is fundamental to our service. When you use our proxies, your traffic is routed through our servers, but we do not inspect or record what you're doing.

3. When We Access or Share Your Information

3.1 We Never Sell Your Data: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone.

3.2 Service Providers: We use third-party services for payment processing, hosting, and analytics. These providers only have access to information necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect your data.

3.3 Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or government request. However, because we don't log your browsing activity, we have limited data to provide even if legally compelled.

3.4 Business Transfers: If Turnoxy is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing of your information in certain circumstances.

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
  • Secure authentication and access controls
  • Regular security assessments
  • Limited employee access to personal data

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

6.1 Active Accounts: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active.

6.2 Usage Data: Basic usage data (connection timestamps, bandwidth) is retained for up to 30 days for operational purposes.

6.3 Canceled Accounts: When you cancel your account, we delete your data within 30 days from our active systems and within 60 days from our backups.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information regardless of where it is processed.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
